Check out the information below, and this website for more information on the Gerson Therapy and it’s results with cancer: www.gerson.org

The Gerson Institute is a non-profit organization located in San Diego, California, dedicated to providing education and training in the Gerson Therapy, an alternative, non-toxic treatment for cancer and other chronic degenerative diseases.

Dr. Gerson’s daughter, Charlotte Gerson, founded the Gerson Institute in 1977, to spread awareness of the Gerson Therapy and make it available to people across the world. The Gerson Institute is the true source of information on the original, proven Gerson Therapy.

The Gerson Therapy is a safe, natural treatment developed by Dr. Max Gerson in the 1920s.The Therapy activates the body’s extraordinary ability to heal itself through an organic, vegetarian diet, raw juices, coffee enemas and natural supplements. The Gerson Therapy treats the underlying causes of disease: toxicity and nutritional deficiency.

The Gerson Therapy is a non-specific treatment that effectively treats many different conditions by healing the body as a whole, rather than selectively targeting a specific condition or symptom. Over the past 60 years, thousands of people have used the Gerson Therapy to recover from so-called “incurable” diseases, including:

Cancer (including melanoma, breast cancer, prostate cancer, colon cancer, lymphoma, pancreatic cancer and many others)

Diabetes

Heart disease

Arthritis

Auto-immune disorders

….and many others

Are you looking for information on Mesothelioma cancer? During some research I came across this website that is a wonderful resource for those seeking Mesothelioma information. It is well laid out and full of well researched information about this rare type of cancer. There are actually three recognized types of mesothelioma. Pleural mesothelioma is the most common form. Then there is Peritoneal mesothelioma and Pericardial mesothelioma. Mesothelioma.com is the ‘go to’ website if you are looking for information. Here is what they have to say about Mesothelioma:

Malignant mesothelioma is a rare type of cancer that occurs in the thin layer of cells lining the body’s internal organs, known as the mesothelium. There are three recognized types of mesothelioma. Pleural mesothelioma is the most common form of the disease, accounting for roughly 70% of cases, and occurs in the lining of the lung known as the pleura.Peritoneal mesothelioma occurs in the lining of the abdominal cavity, known as the peritoneum andpericardial mesothelioma originates in the pericardium, which lines the heart.

An individual may be at risk to develop mesothelioma if he or she was exposed to asbestos in the workplace or at home. Mesothelioma is causedby exposure to asbestos and the inhalation of asbestos particles. In most cases, mesothelioma symptoms will not appear in an individual exposed to asbestos until many years after the exposure has occurred. Those with a past asbestos exposure history experiencing symptoms should consult a physician with experience in accurately diagnosing mesothelioma. The earlier mesothelioma is diagnosed, the more likely it is to be caught at an early stage. At earlier stages of mesothelioma progression, more treatment options are available and oftentimes a better prognosis is given. Additional mesothelioma informationand statistics can be found in this section.

Visit Mesothelioma.com and educate yourself about the causes, symptoms, diagnosis, and treatment of abestos exposure today.

Can aloe vera prevent and cure cancer?

by Mike Adams, the Health Ranger
Editor of NaturalNews.com

If you’re looking to prevent cancer, you need to know about Aloe Vera. More research on aloe Vera is taking place all around the world as word spreads about its natural healing potential. You’ll learn a wealth of information about this in this article.

Here, we present a collection of quotes and observations about aloe Vera and cancer, documented in some of the best health books ever written. Read and remember these quotes, and feel free to share what you learn here with others who may also need this information.

Some clinics have used aloe vera to increase the effectiveness of cancer treatment with the chemotherapy agent’s cyclophosphamide (Cytoxan, Neosar) and 5-fluorouracil (5-FU). Several studies indicate that aloe vera gel can protect both the immune system and the skin from the effects of radiation treatment. In addition, at least one study suggests that taking aloe internally can reduce the likelihood of lung cancer in smokers.
- Prescription for Herbal Healing: An Easy-to-Use A-Z Reference to Hundreds of Common Disorders and Their Herbal Remedies by Phyllis A. Balch, CNC

Radiation burns cause skin ulcerations that had been nearly incurable until physicians began trying the old folk remedy of the aloe vera leaf. Today, aloe vera has gained such great popularity that it is being used in many cosmetics and health products. Aloe Vera juice that is taken internally has been found to be effective in almost every illness, including cancer, heart disease and AIDS. In fact, there is hardly any disease or health problem for which aloe vera has not been proven successful.
- Timeless Secrets of Health & Rejuvenation: Unleash The Natural Healing Power That Lies Dormant within You by Andreas Moritz

Added to the juice, we should take aloe vera. Aloe Vera is the single most healing of all the herbs. It’s anti-cancer, anti-parasitic, and it repairs DNA. It protects us from viruses and bacteria. Every time I take juice, I take aloe, and it makes a big difference.
- Gary Nulls Ultimate Anti Aging Program by Gary Null, Ph.D.

Hyland commented that normal cells appeared protected and abnormal cells appeared more sensitive to treatment, when Aloe vera was a part of an integrated approach. Various cancer patients have experienced remarkable reversals in health status after adding aloe to their protocol. It was, in fact, triumphant accounts of Aloe vera enhancing the efficacy of previously failed treatments that spurred the glyconutrient movement.
- Disease Prevention and Treatment by The Life Extension Editorial Staff

Ivan Danhoff of the North Texas Research Laboratory in Grand Prairie, Texas, discovered large 9,000-molecule Aloe Vera polysaccharides, he freeze-dries to inactivate enzymes, called “Albarin” used in I.V. treatment of terminal cancers. He was in application and raided by the FDA. in October 2001 at the Medical Centers for Preventive & Nutritional Medicine in Florida, after having put 94 of the first 100 cancers studied into remission in terminal patients given 2-3 months to live, with 80% of remaining patients in remission.
- Anti-Aging Manual: The Encyclopedia of Natural Health by Joseph E. Mario

Acemannan, extracted from the aloe vera plant, appears to be one of its most active ingredients. It is used both orally and intravenously, and has uses from antiviral, antifungal, and antibacterial to helping with symptoms from AIDS and cancer.
- Smart Medicine for Healthier Living: Practical A-Z Reference to Natural and Conventional Treatments for Adults by Janet Zand, LAc, OMD, Allan N. Spreed, MD, CNC, James B. LaValle, RPh, ND

Reports of Aloe Vera being life-saving to cancer patients are not scarce. Dr. Julian Whitaker reported that a 10-year-old boy diagnosed with a rare brain tumor (a meningioma) went into total remission after drinking 8 oz of whole-leaf Aloe vera concentrate a day for 3 months. Because surgeons were unable to remove the entire tumor, its continued growth rendered an uncertain prognosis. At the time of the Whitaker report, the child was living a normal life and participating in sports but drinking Aloe vera juice every day (Whitaket 1995a).
- Disease Prevention and Treatment by The Life Extension Editorial Staff

Taken internally, 98 or 99 percent pure aloe vera juice is known to aid in the healing of stomach disorders, ulcers, constipation, hemorrhoids, rectal itching, colitis, and all colon problems. Aloe vera can also be helpful against infections, varicose veins, skin cancer, and arthritis, and is used in the treatment of AIDS. We have had excellent results using colon cleansers containing psyllium husks in combination with aloe vera juice. We have found this combination to be good for food allergy and colon disorder sufferers.
- Prescription for Nutritional Healing, 4th Edition: A Practical A-to-Z Reference to Drug-Free Remedies Using Vitamins, Minerals, Herbs & Food Supplements by Phyllis A. Balch, CNC

One tablespoon of aloe vera juice, diluted with a little water, before meals or at least once in the morning before breakfast, helps to break down old deposits of waste and bring basic nutrients to cells and tissues. Those who feel their liver is still releasing many toxins several days after a liver flush may greatly benefit from drinking aloe vera juice. Aloe vera has been found to be effective in almost every illness, including cancer, heart disease, and AIDS.

The Color of Prevention

When it comes to choosing a healthy diet, nature gives us colorful cues.

Research shows that the best foods for fighting cancer come in vibrant packages. Luscious red raspberries, brilliant orange peppers, leafy green vegetables and their colorful cousins are full of nutrients that support good cell functioning.

So how do these foods actually work to ward off cancer?

Many fruits and vegetables are filled with antioxidants, which act as a health tonic for your cells. Oxidation – the work cells do when they burn food energy – creates a residue of stress. Antioxidants help mend that wear and tear, keeping cells strong and cancer-resistant.

Low in calories, these foods also help you maintain a healthy weight. As popular health writer Dr. Sanjay Gupta points out, when you fill up on flavor, you feel more satisfied. Studies reveal that eating well and watching your weight are 2 of the 4 vital steps we can take to prevent 2/3 of all cancers.

A healthful feast … just follow your eyes
Shop your local farmer’s market or green grocer for these summer favorites:

Strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and blackberries

Green, red, yellow and orange peppers

Watermelon, cantaloupe, honeydew and more

Zucchini and other summer squash

Fresh tomatoes in every variety and color

Cabbage, radicchio, spinach and other greens

Deep purple eggplant

Red and golden beets

Crisp and fresh equals nutritious
Fruits and vegetables deliver their best nutrition when they’re crisp, so avoid overcooking them. Remember, too, that nutrients are highest when vegetables and fruits are just picked, so eat them in their prime.

April 20, 2011

Joseph Hall

Predicted survival rates for many cancers soar if patients manage to live through their first year, a new Statistics Canada report shows.

The study is the first to look at life expectancy beyond the original diagnosis date, which averages in the many deaths that occur soon after a cancer is discovered.

“Typically survival from cancers is often reported from time of diagnosis,” says Larry Ellison, a StatsCan epidemiologist.

“We look at the people who have survived one year, who have survived two years, what’s their outlook for an additional five years,” Ellison says.

For those people, he says, the five-year survival prognosis improves dramatically.

For example, people freshly diagnosed with pancreatic cancer are given a six per cent chance at surviving five years, the report says.

But for those who live through the first year, the probability of seeing another five years improves to 28 per cent. After two years, it goes up to 54 per cent.

Brain and stomach cancer patients are typically told the likelihood they will survive five years is less than 25 per cent. After a year, those chances go up into the high 40s.

After surviving five years past diagnosis, the chances of surviving another five goes up to the high 90s in percentages for most cancers.

“Typically the risk is more concentrated in the first year, or the first couple of years,” Ellison says.

“If you happen to get by the initial, most dangerous point, then your outlook can change quite a bit from what it was originally,” he says.

Ellison compares the principle to Third World life expectancy figures, which factor in high infant and childhood mortality rates found in poorer countries. If children live through to their teen years, their life expectancies become more in line with those in Western nations, he says.

“We’re trying to say ‘Now, after you’ve survived one year, let’s look at your chances of surviving an additional five years,’ ” Ellison says. “Often the outlook is a lot better than it was at diagnosis.”

Ellison says the figures should reassure cancer survivors that their chances of living are not static but are improving as time goes on.

“Part of it is to assist survivors in adjusting their view of the future so they’re not . . . thinking the worst for five years,” he says.

“Now we have some concrete Canadian numbers.”

This information comes from: Amy Theberge, Event Manager for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer

It is with great excitement that I share with you, that this week, Oregon passed Senate Bill 433 which will provide more support to The Oregon Breast & Cervical Cancer Program (BCCP) which helps low-income, uninsured, and medically underserved women gain access to lifesaving screening programs for early detection of breast and cervical cancers!
Here are the facts:

Breast cancer incidence in Oregon is among the top 5 in the nation

Oregon is one of only 5 states which put $0 of your taxes to fund the Breast & Cervical Cancer Program leaving only 7,000 available screenings for the entire state!

A woman must be diagnosed within the BCCP Network in order to receive free medical treatment through the BCCP. If she is diagnosed outside of network, she is disqualified from the program even if she meets every other eligibility requirement

Senate Bill 433 allows women diagnosed outside the BCCP Network to enroll in the medical treatment portion of the program

We are so thrilled that with this development, we will be able to expand cancer prevention, treatment and early detection, which ultimately means SAVING LIVES!
Step one was getting Senate Bill 433 passed, and if you are as satisfied as we are, please take step two and make a donation to Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. This week proves that together we can make a difference! Thank you for your support!

This is an interesting article that is all over the web. Here is a link from where we found it: http://naturalhealthinatoxicworld.blogspot.com/2009/04/can-asparagus-cure-cancer.html

As well all are painfully aware, the medical community isn’t always open to natural cures, and my suspicion is that they don’t much like prevention. After all, for them to profit, people have to be ill.

Thus I wasn’t too shocked at the contents of an e-mail I received today, telling about the long-known benefits of asparagus. Rather that paraphrase, I’ll copy part of it here. The message ended with the statement that this bio-chemist believes that a cure is also a prevention, so he and his wife take 2 Tablespoons of asparagus puree each day. Neither of them has cancer, but other aspects of their health have improved.

He ended with “It won’t hurt…and might help. So why not do it?” I agree, and since I love asparagus, it will be on my menu more often.

He referenced the existence of an article – “Asparagus for cancer” printed in Cancer News Journal, December 1979. Also note the dates on the case studies …

From the e-mail:

Case No. 1, A man with an almost hopeless case of Hodgkin’s disease (cancer of the lymph glands) who was completely incapacitated. Within 1 year of starting the asparagus therapy, his doctors were unable to detect any signs of cancer, and he was back on a schedule of strenuous exercise.

Case No. 2, a successful businessman 68 years old who suffered from cancer of the bladder for 16 years. After years of medical treatments, including radiation without improvement, he went on asparagus. Within 3 months, examinations revealed that his bladder tumor had disappeared and that his kidneys were normal.

Case No. 3, a man who had lung cancer. On March 5th 1971 , he was put on the operating table where they found lung cancer so widely spread that it was inoperable. The surgeon sewed him up and declared his case hopeless. On April 5th he heard about the asparagus therapy and immediately started taking it.By August, x-ray pictures revealed that all signs of the cancer had disappeared.. He is back at his regular business routine.

Case No. 4, a woman who was troubled for a number of years with skin cancer. She finally developed different skin cancers which were diagnosed by asking specialist as advanced…. Within 3 months after starting on asparagus, her skin specialist said that her skin looked fine and no more skin lesions. This woman reported that the asparagus therapy also cure her kidney disease, which started in 1949. She had over 10 operations for kidney stones, and was receiving government disability payments for an inoperable, terminal, kidney condition. She attributes the cure of this kidney trouble entirely to the asparagus.

I was not surprised at this result, as `The elements of materia medica’, edited in 1854 by a Professor at the University of Pennsylvania , stated that asparagus was used as a popular remedy for kidney stones. He even referred to experiments, in 1739, on the power of asparagus in dissolving stones.

We would have other case histories but the medical establishment has interfered with our obtaining some of the records. I am therefore appealing to readers to spread this good news and help us to gather a large number of case histories that will overwhelm the medical skeptics about this unbelievably simple and natural remedy.

For the treatment, asparagus should be cooked before using, and therefore canned asparagus is just as good as fresh.

Place the cooked asparagus in a blender and liquefy to make a puree, and store in the refrigerator. Give the patient 4 full tablespoons twice daily, morning and evening.

Patients usually show some improvement in from 2-4 weeks. It can be diluted with water and used as a cold or hot drink. This suggested dosage is based on present experience, but certainly larger amounts can do no harm and may be needed in some cases.
